My name is Kathy Oler. Another cousin, Carrie Oler Beckman and I are planning an OLER/OHLER family reunion for August 2 (Sat) 1997 in Wayne County, Indiana. This is for all OLER/OHLER descendants that want to come. Our line originates with Henry Oler (Ohler, we think originally) b. 1768 Germany or Rockingham Co.,VA who married Sarah Porter 1808/09 Montgomery Co, OH. They moved to Indiana in 1814 and died there. Henry d. 1858, and Sarah d. 1844. They had nine children: John, Thomas, James, Margaret, Adam, Henry II, Martin, Benjamin, and Sarah. These children's branches are now all over the USA.
